COVID-19 update regarding the use of face masks at Coatham Surgery

In line with recent guidance from NHS England, we are pleased to announce some relaxation of the COVID-19 restrictions within our building. Please note that this may be subject to change at short notice depending on local variations in COVID-19 infection levels.  Our staff are required to wear face masks for all exposure-prone procedures, when caring for any patient with confirmed or suspected COVID-19, or when caring for a patient that has severe immunosuppression.  Patients and Visitors are no longer routinely required to wear face masks, but may be encouraged to do so in some circumstances.

CQC Inspection March 2022

The CQC Inspection Report for their assessment on 10th March 2022 is now available to view on the CQC website.  This was a follow-up (unrated) inspection.  Our team continue to strive for improvement in our services, with a current focus on improving patient safety.  We expect another (full) inspection within the next year.

Minor Surgery services have restarted

Following our previous post regarding the temporary suspension of these clinics (due to the COVID-19 pandemic), we are happy to announce that our services have resumed from April 2022. Please bear with us as we work through our waiting list whilst taking additional health and safety precautions. To help reduce waiting times, we will be offering an additional weekly clinic throughout April.
