COVID-19 update regarding the use of face masks at Coatham Surgery

In line with recent guidance from NHS England, we are pleased to announce some relaxation of the COVID-19 restrictions within our building. Please note that this may be subject to change at short notice depending on local variations in COVID-19 infection levels.

Our staff are required to wear face masks for all exposure-prone procedures, when caring for any patient with confirmed or suspected COVID-19, or when caring for a patient that has severe immunosuppression.

Patients and Visitors are no longer routinely required to wear face masks, but may be encouraged to do so in some circumstances.
